Aranka Fabian was founded in Cleveland, Ohio in 1999, by five kids under the age of 17. In the years that followed, the band became a local touchstone for anyone interested in the burgeoning Jam/Live Music scene. Over time, Aranka Fabian began touring regionally and gained recognition after a run of successful festival sets and opportunities to share the stage with national acts (Santana, The String Cheese Incident, The New Deal, Umphrey’s McGee, Brother’s Past, Robert Walter’s 20th Congreess, The Samples, Galactic, and a slew of others). Performances became more sporadic beginning in 2004 when guitarists Adam Tressler and Craig Brodhead moved to Boston to study music at Berklee College of Music. The band has two albums to date, 2001’s “Out of Whack” and 2005’s “Interpolation”, and the band is firmly committed to playing together whenever possible.
